Description

DS Allen began making photographs when he was 7 years old. By the age of 14 he was teaching at his father's photography school (the UK's first ever private photography school that he founded in 1972) and began working as a commercial and fine art photographer in 1979. His work as an art-photographer is focussed on the urban realm within the Berlin borough of Pankow with a particular emphasis on the former boroughs of Prenzlauer Berg and Weißensee.
