Description

I'm Diego Mayoral (aka Diego Rambova). I am an academic researcher and interdisciplinary artist (mainly in the discipline of performance art). I have a degree in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of Salamanca (I did my Erasmus in Kassel in 2009-2020 under the tutelage of Urs Lüthi). I have a master's degree in film art direction from the ESCAC in Barcelona, in contemporary art history from the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid with the Autonomous University of Madrid and, finally, in scenic practice and visual culture from the University of Castilla la Mancha. Last October I obtained my PhD in Artistic, literary and cultural studies from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with a thesis on performance, spirituality and queerness in contemporary action art. The last 3 years of my PhD I was teaching at the university. I also have experience working for a year in an art gallery. I also have photoshop skills. As for languages my English level is between B2 and C1 and my German level is beginner.
