Description

Based in Berlin and Munich, Karsten Günther serves as Head of Innovation and Executive Producer with Bavaria Fiction. He is a graduate of the University of Television and Film Munich. In 2014, he was awarded the "Transmedia Prize" at the Munich Film Festival for his cross-media entertainment concept on the subject of moral courage. During this time, he worked in the series development department of Lionsgate Entertainment in the USA. Since 2015, Karsten Günther has held various positions in the digital division of Axel Springer SE, where he was responsible for founding new creative units. Most recently, as Head of Creative Content Strategy & Business Development, he managed the conception of cross-platform creative strategies and content partnerships across the entire media brand portfolio.
