Description

Originally from Romania, Lorena is a content oriented producer with background in project management in Cape Town and Beirut. 
She acquired a degree and supplementary training in media theory and production at Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and started her career as freelancer in 2016. During this time she developed, financed and realized various projects such as "80.000 Schnitzel" and " Due to legal reasons this movie is called BREAKING BERT" in cooperation with emerging directors, film funds and German broadcasters. 
In 2019, Lorena has joined the Berlin based production company TONDOWSKI FILMS as Junior Producer and works closely with writers and directors of diverse cultural backgrounds with the aim of bringing content to its maximal potential by identifying its needs at an early stage.
Her current projects have a focus on personal stories with strong creative vision that have the goal of creating sustainable social impact and audience engagement. Lorena is the co-founder and on the board of "CONNECTED DIFFERENCES", an association representing intersectional perspectives in Film, Theater and Media.
