The outdoor event "Parkbank-Poet:innen" takes place in parks in the Friedrichshagen district on and near the Müggelsee lake on the last Saturday before the Berlin summer holidays. Authors will use 16 park benches to read aloud, talk to listeners, sell and sign books. Reading aloud in public spaces enables people to encounter literature and makes it accessible to interested listeners free of charge. The organisers have once again succeeded in putting together a colourful mix of different genres. Crime fiction, fantasy, love, science fiction, contemporary literature, poetry - there will be something for everyone.
