Paul Gerhardt Stift zu Berlin

The Paul Gerhardt Stift zu Berlin (PGS) is a social-diaconal institution with 147 years of tradition. It was originally founded as a deaconesses' maternity home. Since the beginning of 2017, the Stift has been a non-operational support foundation. The foundation currently supports primarily its own social projects in the district, family and refugee work, which are located in the non-profit GmbH Paul Gerhardt Stift Soziales. In the future, we would like to become even more involved as a sponsoring foundation. Together with our partners, we want to work for a more socially responsible urban society and use the donations we receive to support other charitable projects. The district and family center - Zukunftshaus Wedding, a daycare center, service housing and the Refugium refugee shelter are all located on the grounds of our foundation.
