Description

Every spring, BERLIN DESIGN WEEK presents the work and ideas of national and international designers, companies, institutions and knowledge and research facilities to a global audience. The festival program includes exhibitions, talks, presentations, lectures, workshops and networking events at various Berlin locations.

BERLIN DESIGN WEEK presents the diversity and depth of design in its entire range. Nevertheless, the focus is on experimental projects combining research, industry and business with design disciplines.

The festival aims to capture design in its entirety - not just as an aesthetic discipline but as a means of offering solutions to social, technological and ecological issues. We want to show how designers worldwide can use their work to drive social change and promote innovation.
