We haven't forgotten the pain of the 1999 İzmit earthquake. Our award-winning short film, "First 10K" brings the aftermath of the disaster to the screen in a striking way. Aspiring photographer Mustafa's dream of capturing the perfect shot transforms into a harrowing experience amidst the earthquake's devastating impact. Having won awards at numerous festivals, including the (Luma Short Film Festival) and the (Peterhof Film Festival), our film deeply moves audiences with powerful performances by Ege Tanman, İhsan İlhan and Onur Gözeten.
The August 17, 1999 earthquake caused widespread destruction in Istanbul and the surrounding region. "First 10K" explores the traces of this tragedy and the strength of the human spirit through compelling storytelling.
