Description

Chiayu is a sustainable fashion designer. She specializes in women and kid's wear designs, and also knowledge with sustainable silk production. Meanwhile, she is interested in creating illustration and handicraft.

Born in Taiwan in 1989. Graduated from the Department of Fashion Design in Shih-Chien University and spend 4 years in the fashion design and luxury retail industries in Taiwan.

Chiayu moved to Berlin to study the M.A. program "Sustainability in Fashion" in 2017. In the graduated thesis, she discussed the sustainable design strategies for kidswear and utilized LCO tools to study the life-cycle impacts of mulberry silk.
