Description

Das JIB ist ein von der Universität der Künste und der Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler“ im Juli 2005 gemeinsam gegründetes Institut. Ein Ziel der Arbeit im JIB ist die Wegfindung zur eigenen künstlerischen Identität in Verbindung mit dem Berufsbild des professionellen Jazzmusikers. Effektive internationale Vernetzung soll den Studierenden neben musikalischen Erfahrungen langfristig wichtige Anknüpfungspunkte nach dem Verlassen des Institutes bieten.
