Description

The Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin celebrated, as part of the Fabrik Osloer Straße, a social and cultural centre in the district of Berlin-Wedding, its tenth anniversary in 2007. On 1,000 square meters, located in a former assembly hall for match machines, children between 3 and 12 can go to several JoinIn-exhibitions. Fairytale, Astrid Lindgren, children´s Rights, health or world cultures - here, touching, trying out, playing and having fun is explicitly allowed! The interactive exhibitions intend to call up the desire for learning and to encourage the children to discover themselves and the world with all their senses. Here, learning means "by doing“– by imitating, curiosity, and active experience.
Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin intention is to promote the health, social and cultural education of children. Thus, many offers accompany the work, such as advanced training, symposia, mobile offers for kindergartens, schools, and leisure time clubs, birthday parties, model projects, and a Europe-wide exhibition rental agency.
