Anima Randagia (Stray Soul)

The project is a series of self-portraits that delve into the intricate web of emotions surrounding depression. The images, a blend of beauty and discomfort, serve to highlight the struggle of feeling disconnected and lost from oneself. Symmetrical compositions invite the viewers to look beyond the surface and confront unpleasant emotions that lie hidden beneath the facade of beauty. With this series, my aim is to raise awareness and start a conversation about the complexities of depression and the impact that it has in the relationship with ourselves and others.
