Description

In her installation, participatory and collaborative projects, Marula Di Como explores the complex relationship between humans and nature, drawing on cultural history, philosophy, sociology and botany.
She sees her installations, objects and site-specific art as a field of experimentation.
In her art, she seeks forms of expression in contact with her surroundings and communicates directly with the viewers: With the aim of creating something in common with the inhabitants of a place.
In her photographic walks and urban observations for her objects and site-specific works, she explores the relationship between the space of civilisation (society, built space, everyday uses) and the city. Marula Di Como's approach always incorporates a poetic perspective.
