Description

I established my studio for artistic photography in the early 1980s. In 1986, I moved my studio from Prenzlauerberg to Kreuzberg and after many stops in different locations across Berlin and Italy, it has now settled in Grünewald. I produce staged and documentary photographs. I teach at the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule (Berlin College of Technical Art) which I also direct, and give photography workshops in various locations in Asia, particularly Vietnam.

My recent exhibitions in Berlin are: 2012/13 “Private Party” at the Berlinischen Gallerie; 2009 “Transitional Society” at the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Art). In 2012, I directed my first Documentary Film LIGHTER THAN ORANGE about the consequential human damages of Agent Orange in Vietnam, four decades after the war.
