What happens when you take a group of Makers, a couple of tools and some innovative processes to the streets of Milan?
This was what the MakerLab Milan expedition sought to find out, in doing so engaging with the public and the Milan Maker Scene.
Taking with us Makers and Creative Activists from different fields of expertise and experience, and combining them with tools, resources and public space, we occupied different public venues in Milan, each time engaging with different groups. Instigating the public to think about their public space as a playground, where they are able to design and encourage to build that what they need to enjoy the public space or even to foster that what they dream with.
The MakerLab will continue to develop from what we learn in Milan, into a space for sharing, learning and most important Make theories into actions.
