The Berlin creative company Newniq, which was awarded by the federal government, offers a design shop, a design blog and as a creative agency it also offers so called 'Creative Tours' in Berlin. Founded in late 2013 by Julia Depis and Judith Trifonoff, Newniq supports young designers with their creative ideas from their design studio in Prenzlauer Berg.

In its curated online design shop, Newniq offers designers the ability to produce products such as small pieces of furniture, fashion and accessories and to market them directly via the Newniq online platform. In addition, the founders are where the design scene in Berlin is found. They track down trends, portray representatives of the creative scene in and outside of Berlin, and point to interesting design locations including their own in their 'Newniq Blog' and the underlying concepts. In addition, Newniq offers creative tours through Berlin: Here the design company takes its guests, such as companies and other interested parties through different creative places in Berlin and creates a customised tour quite apart from the Brandenburg Gate and Alex: factories, artist studios and creative companies which show the other, creative and authentic side of Berlin.
