Aurora Machinery

‘Aurora Machinery’ is a computer application created in the environment of Max/MSP that implements an interactive, audiovisual installation. On functional level, it manipulates samples, synthesises sound and shapes them with effects, while it provides certain real-time controls that affect important parameters. The mediums that the users have at their disposal to control those parameters, are their mobile phone’s sensors, transferring information via the OSC protocol and their computer’s camera, using the OpenCV’s computer vision technologies to detect motion.
