three criteria in relation to the work of shantihtown construction are:

- engagement with the culture of france (french Texts of modern and postmodern Autors, first performance / premiere)

- involvement with modern patterns of roles ( identity, aspects of biography, discourses on memory etc.)

- selfreflective forms of theatre (theatre within, lecture performance, reflexions on artistic process...)

Develop alternative and unknown stages / areas, actual items and performative semiotics, new media, theatrical recherche as central aspects of group "shantytown construction".

Unfold contents and contexts of performances in scientific discourse (conferences, discussions, scientific lectures etc. ) as concept of the group.

work in progress: starting with research of items /texts and coherences, workshops, forms of improvisation and rehearsals, to staging - „work in progress“ - is the method of the ensemble "shantihtown construction" as collective creation.
