Description

The independent production company "Sisyphos, der Flugelefant" (SdF) was founded by the Taiwanese director Chang Nai Wen in Berlin in 2008. It gives artists from different creative fields and cultures a platform to combine the perspectives of different communities in the process of collective creation. With the belief in the immediacy of performing arts, SdF creates all kinds of "playgrounds" that enable mutual communication between performers and spectators. In doing so, we hope to generate critical dialogue targeting social and political issues such as integration, identity, and domestic violence. Our artistic formats include, but are not limited to, theatre, live art, video and installations. We also design children and youth creative workshops with different themes to help young people from different backgrounds and ethnic groups explore their natural and unique creativity and express it in different ways.
