As People Operations Coordinator (f/m/d), you are the first point of contact to our employees and other stakeholders. You will make an impact by supporting our employees and ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly. You will own HR Admin responsibilities and coordinate office procedures for our small office. You have the opportunity to become a key partner to our Senior Leaders and Head of People, while supporting our efforts on making our office a healthy and engaging workplace for everyone. Requirements
What you’ll do:
People Operations
First point of contact for employees for all HR-related matters
Working together with external partners, prepare and monitor monthly payroll while ensure compliance with local regulations (labor, tax, and social security law)
Management of our HRIS and all personnel related administration from onboarding to off-boarding (work permits, contracts, amendments, confirmations, reference letters, absences, benefits, etc.)
Assist international newcomers with visa processes and integration in Berlin, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate offer to new employee onboarding
Maintaining and adjusting our People guidelines and policies
Measure employee engagement and owning KPI reports
Ability to work with confidential information
Workplace
Welcome visitors, guests, and candidates and ensure they have a great experience
Actively supervise the reception and coordinate our incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries during our normal working hours
Monitor inventory and order office supplies including snacks, drinks, stationery, etc...
Organise and run internal team events
Take ownership of smaller projects in Office Management
Who we think will be a great fit :
Experience in a similar role in a start-up or scale-up company
Hands-on experience and profound knowledge of HR Administration topics in Germany (managing an HRIS, payroll, ensuring compliance with local regulations, labor law, etc.)
Knowledge about relocating to Germany and experience applying for work permits
Ability to speak and write in both German and English at a professional level
IT literacy, with an excellent working knowledge of Gmail, Calendar, Docs.
Highly organised, able to juggle multiple schedules and competing priorities while keeping an overview of the bigger picture and deadlines
Growth mindset, driven, highly motivated with a positive can-do attitude and attention to detail
Welcoming personality, empathic, and team oriented
