Beschreibung: carlier | gebauer is an established and international gallery in the art district / U-Bahn Kochstrasse in Berlin.

Founded in 1991 and directed by Marie-Blanche Carlier and Ulrich Gebauer the gallery promotes international contemporary art and currently represents over 30 international artists. The program veers towards aesthetic and conceptual research in the fields of sculpture, installation, film, photography, painting, and drawing.

The gallery has proven to be a key platform for the artists’ development by producing crucial exhibitions for their career. A great number of the artists of the gallery have participated in major biennials and international exhibitions as well as having significant solo exhibitions in major international museums.

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Sales Director.

Working directly with the owners of the gallery, the right candidate will have commercial awareness as well as a true enthusiasm for contemporary art and the art market. The Sales Director will actively engage in selling artworks and cultivate relationships with clients. Representing the gallery at exhibition openings, events and art fairs, they will also oversee the entire sales procedure and documentation. Proven sales record on a senior level is essential.

This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
