Kulturschöpfer was founded in September 2013 in Berlin-Friedrichshain with the goal to promote a respectful society through art, culture, collaboration and community.
At Kulturschöpfer you will find a gallery, a coworking space, a workshop room, artist studios and our "living room" where workshops, seminars, readings and concerts are offered.
An inspiring space is created that serves as a catalyst for deepening one's own self-expression. A space characterized by imagination, the pursuit of community; that allows to make mistakes and where you become part of our story.

At Kulturschöpfer you can develop yourself in a comfortable and creative environment together with us. For 5 months (with option of extension) we offer you space for your ideas and visions!

Here are the most important key points:
What will the program look like?
➣ 5 months program: 3 months internship period, 2 months continuing connected training period
➣ Part-time (approx. 20 hours per week), location-based participation (Berlin)
➣ Initial phase in the first month of internship: "Foundation weeks" as introduction to KS (possibly more than 20 hours in the first four weeks due to a detailed introduction)
➣ Possible work areas:
❒ Gallery (helping with the planning of exhibitions and residencies),
❒ Events & Courses (planning of workshops and events),
❒ Operations/administration of NGO and cultural center (how does a NGO function, research, finance and grant management),
❒ Communications (creating marketing strategy and communication plan for KS projects, story telling through social media, taking care of KS Newsletter, working on website),
❒ Shared Space (Community development, management of KS shared space)
➣ (Please keep in mind that you’ll have the opportunity to get a look into all the different working areas in Kulturschöpfer)
➣ Discussions and mentoring on various thematic areas (especially during the foundation weeks): e.g. time management, organization, leadership, teamwork, project development
➣ Initially unpaid, as we are in the process of finding suitable funding opportunities

...you are interested in the work areas of Kulturschöpfer (see our website for more information about us), you have team spirit, you would like to contribute your own ideas in a meaningful way, you are adaptable, thoughtful and creative. English language skills (min. B2) required. German language skills are an advantage!
Kulturschöpfer offers space for intercultural and international exchange with flat hierarchies. Being an intersectional, inclusive "safe space" means living openness and tolerance. Applying for the training program is free and encouraged for everyone, we are all "culture makers" in our own ways.
The Program can be attended under a wide variety of framework conditions: For example as a voluntary internship or as a compulsory university-related internship.
