Beschreibung: carlier | gebauer is an established and international gallery in the art district / U-Bahn Kochstrasse in Berlin.

Founded in 1991 and directed by Marie-Blanche Carlier and Ulrich Gebauer the gallery promotes international contemporary art and currently represents over 30 international artists. The program veers towards aesthetic and conceptual research in the fields of sculpture, installation, film, photography, painting, and drawing.

The gallery has proven to be a key platform for artists’ development by producing crucial exhibitions for their career. A great number of the artists of the gallery have participated in major biennials and international exhibitions as well as having significant solo exhibitions in major international museums.

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Gallery Manager ⁄ Head of Operations, Berlin (32-40hrs/week)

Coordinating all day-to-day operations of the gallery, the Gallery Manager ⁄ Head of Operations keeps an overview of all operations and tasks leading to the production of the internal exhibitions of the gallery. It is a team-leading position, coordinating all Departments of the gallery in Berlin. The role connects the Logistics Department with the Exhibitions & Sales Department, the back and front offices. The position requires solid experience of management at an art gallery.
