Beschreibung: For a professional artist studio based in Berlin, we are seeking 1-2 interns to assist an international artist in the preparation of several upcoming exhibition projects in Germany and the USA as well as general studio management.

The internships are available immediately, through September 2024, with a scope of 1-2 days per week. While this position is aimed primarily at students and prospective young professionals aiming to gather experience (which can be certified for university courses etc.), we do offer some basic compensation.

We are looking for reliable, friendly, conscientious individuals in or close to the art and design scenes. Tasks and responsibilities in this position include general production assistance, assistance in realizing art installations, archival duties, frame building, canvas stretching, assistance in planning and logistics of 3-4 upcoming exhibitions.

Experience with textiles and fabrics (including sewing) is a plus. You should be a good communicator (please list your language skills in the application), motivated and computer literate. Knowledge of Photoshop and Excel would be great. A driving license is not a requirement, but a big bonus.
